Avocados are rich in glutathione, a substance that specifically blocks intestinal absorption of certain fats that may cause oxidative damage.  They help to shut down any temptation for stress-eating since they fill your belly and make you feel more satisfied.  Avocados also contain amazing nutrients like beta-carotene, vitamin E, lutein and vitamin B.  Add some to your salad, or have it thinly sliced on a sandwich.  Or eat half of an avocado with a little pepper.  Remember to use portion control of this creamy and delicious stress fighting food.
